How to Use SmartRuler

Follow these steps to get accurate measurements

1. Calibrate Your Screen

Use a physical object with known dimensions (credit card, coin, etc.) to calibrate the ruler for your specific screen.

2. Choose Your Ruler

Select between horizontal and vertical orientation, and choose your preferred measurement units (cm, inch, mm).

3. Use Measurement Tools

Use the measurement tool to measure objects directly on your screen, or create a floating ruler for convenience.

4. Floating Ruler

Create floating rulers that you can move, resize, and customize with different units.

Use a credit card (85.6 × 53.98 mm)

Physical Ruler

Use a 15 cm or 30 cm ruler

A4 Paper

Use A4 paper (210 × 297 mm)

US Quarter

Use a US quarter (24.26 mm)

Place the object on screen and adjust the line
